The 2018 Le Tour de Noir Entreprise Evanston – Black Business Enterprise of Evanston/Northshore – is the 3rd annual bus tour that is sponsored by the Black Business Consortium of Evanston/Northshore, the City of Evanston and the First Bank and Trust of Evanston. This year's tour will take place on Saturday, February 24, from 1-3:30 p.m. We will be departing from the Levy Senior Center (300 Dodge Avenue), where parking is free. Participants will board the buses at 12:45 p.m. and depart promptly at 1 p.m. Le Tour will highlight Black-owned businesses located in all nine wards of the city, with opportunities to briefly visit selected locations. Narration will also include the rich history of Blacks in the Evanston/North Shore community. Space is limited! Reserve your seat below.

The buses will then return participants to the Levy Center for the "Small Business, Big Impact 2.0! Business Expo & Market Place. The Expo will offer the opportunity to meet the owners and purchase their products and services. It will also feature entertainment by Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre, food, and discussion by some of the participating business owners around the Expo theme of “Small Business, Big Impact 2.0!” Come and be part of this celebration of black entrepreneurship in Evanston, Rogers Park and the North Shore that reflects the diversity of the Black diaspora: African American, Haitian, Jamaican, Belizean, African and many more.
