Prospective members are invited to attend their first two meetings at the Rotary Club of Skokie Valley free of charge. Advance reservations are not required.
Lunch is $18 for members, visitors and guests. Meetings begin at 12:15 PM & end at 1:30 PM every Tuesday.

Richard Lyon, Assistant Director of Maine Stay Youth & Family Services, was the Guest Speaker at our weekly meeting of April 15, 2014.
Mr. Lyon said that the mission of MainStay Youth & Family Services is to support the growth of healthier families in the Maine Township by providing affordable and strength-based counseling and comprehensive programs focused on prevention and education.
Programs available are:
Bullying Support Group - Teaches students the skills needed to respond effectively to bullying and also provides ways for those concerned about bullying to learn how to get involved and make a difference.
Anxiety Coping Skills Group - Helps children learn effective ways to deal with anxiety and stress.
Life Skills Group – Teaches high school students important life skills necessary for success in today’s world
Future Leaders - Provides the opportunity for high school students to serve as positive role models to younger students though a peer mentoring relationship.
Parenting Class – Uses a blend of discussions and engaging video to teach personal responsibilities and respect without losing children’s love for their parents.
Consoling in English and Spanish for families, couples, individuals and children
Other services provided are volunteer opportunities such as:

FISH (Friends Indeed Serve & Help)
All programs are open to Maine Township residents and take place at Maine Township Town Hall located at 1700 Ballard Road, Park Ridge.
