Oscar Reiss
Holocaust Survivor

Dr. Oscar Reiss holds a BS in Physical Science, and a PHD in Biochemistry both from the University of Chicago.  He served in many capacities as Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Johns Hopkins, and in Biochemistry at CU School of Medicine.  He has spent much time studying and teaching in the areas of orthopedics, cancer, aging and antioxidant research.  Dr. Reiss is retired but is active in several research initiatives.  He is exceptionally well-published on topics of biology and orthopedics.

Dr. Reiss will share with us his compelling story of Holocaust survivorship, little known historical aspects leading up to the Auschwitz, to include photos. He encourages questions!
