The Rotary Club of Kirkland Board of Directors decided at its December meeting that the Great Puget Sound Duck Dash would be the club's principal fund raising project in 2022. The club's current vice president, Gary Cohn, is expected to become the Head Duck with his transition to president-elect in 2022 if confirmed during the upcoming club officer election.

The board also decided to form a Future of the Duck Dash Committee of interested club members to decide whether to continue the fund raising project after 2022.

Some club members have expressed an interest in moving to another fund raising project. This committee will research alternatives and determine whether to present one or more alternatives to the board and membership for approval. A new principal fund raising project, if chosen by the club, would start in 2023. To participate in the Future of the Duck Dash Committee, send an email to Gary Cohn.
