Our possible exposure to crime within society seems to be increasing. My book is written to help both unarmed and armed individuals because both need to follow the same actions for avoiding risks that may threaten our lives. This part of the learning experience is very helpful.

But if we face the situation called Code Black, this requires an understanding about the risks that can drastically change our lives if we survive. We as well as bystanders will all be impacted by physiological, psychological and emotional after-effects if any weapon is fired in our presence.

It took over a year to research, study, train, contemplate how to effectively describe my experiences, then write a book to hold reader’s attention while they learn ways for protecting themselves. I do not advocate a person to arm themselves or discourage it. But listeners will gain intelligent insights and knowledge so to be informed, plus better able to contribute to their decision making process and during conversations with other people.
