See Our Tidewater Wooden Boat Grant in Action

Join Rotarian Chip Finch to see how our Norfolk Rotary Charities grant helped the Tidewater Wooden Boat Workshop teach Norfolk teens from area housing communities to build wooden rowboats. The students will be putting finishing touches on the boats they will soon launch. Working with volunteers they put math skills into action and learned a lot of practical and life skills along the way.

The workshop operates in a building at a Norfolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority work site at 910 Ballentine Boulevard (near I-264 and Virginia Beach Boulevard). Parking is inside the gated area right by the workshop building.
