Project Healing Waters

Visit the Tidewater Program of Project Healing Waters. Volunteers from the Bill Wills Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Virginia Coastal Fly Anglers assist disabled veterans and injured active duty military with rehabilitation through fly fishing, fly tying, rod building and related activities. Learn how to cast a fly rod (weather permitting), tie flies like the Clauser Minnow and Wolly Bugger and see the skill level shown in rod building. Meet at 1 PM at the Ernie Morgan Environmental Center at 3500A Granby Street next to the Virginia Zoo. Participate with the veterans and volunteers.
