Rotarians Serving at Homeless Shelter

Sunnyvale Rotarians and friends prepared and served dinner for the homeless at the Cold Weather Shelter on Wednesday, February 11th. Many Rotarians donated food and helped fund the dinner. A special thanks to Pat Sargent and members of the Sunnyvale Elks Lodge for their hard work preparing the meal. Joe Ribera and Mary-Ann Wallace also supplied needed men's clothing in XL and XXL sizes which are the most needed items right now.

The Cold Weather Shelter in North Sunnyvale serves 100-125 homeless individuals nightly from December through March. Sunnyvale Rotary has been serving dinner once a month at the Shelter for over 20 years. Our next and final dinner service for this shelter year will be on Wednesday, March 16. Speciality Solid Waste & Recycling will once again make their fabulous tri-tip sirloin dinner.  Other Rotarians will supply the rest of the feast and serve
