Art in the City
Today's program, Art in the City, was introduced by Rotarian and Sunnyvale Director of Library and Community Services, Lisa Rosenblum. Sunnyvale City employees Kristin Dance and Tegan McClane, provided a delightful and colorful presentation on the manifold civic arts within the city of Sunnyvale. These art works are made available as part of the permitting process, that is, developers are obligated to include civic arts in their projects as the terrain and footprint allow. Art works are included in both industrial and civic locations, including corporation properties and city parks.
