Flo Stafford Visits Sister City

On October 3rd, Flo Stafford and her great nephew, Rob Roberts, headed to Japan as representatives of The Sunnyvale Sister City’s Association.   They spent 3 days in Tokyo and 3 days in Koyto as tourists and then flew to Iizuka,  Sunnyvale’s Sister City.   In Iizuka, they stayed with host families and were treated like royalty.  

 

The Sunnyvale Sister City’s Association fosters good will and friendship between our country and Japan.  Sunnyvale Rotary is a sponsor of this organization.  They have fostered exchanges between students for several years and have now begun the exchange of adults.  If you would like more information about this program, please talk to Flo.
