Last week Yolanda Hoffman introduced us to new member, Courtney Frerichs.    Courtney works in Private Practice as a Mental Health Counselor.  She is originally from West Point, NE, She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with her Master’s in Counseling in 2001.

Courtney spent many years traveling the country while her husband served in the Navy.  She accumulated counseling experience in various fields such as addiction, a psychiatric hospital, group homes, and private practice before returning home to Nebraska with my family in 2018.

Courtney and her husband and have two launched children and one intellectually disabled daughter who will never launch, and that is simply fine with them. They enjoy spending time outside, volunteering in church activities, military/veteran’s activities, and educating others on disability rights.

Courtney is looking forward to seeing how she can learn from others, serve and begin making an impact in Omaha. Welcome, Courtney!
