Last week Michelle Schrage introduced us to new member Candi Jacobs.
Candi has lived in Nebraska since July of 2016, and before moving here spent the first 39 years in Sonoma County, California. The only thing she truly misses, is walking along winter beaches and going to San Francisco Giants games. Candi is a Sales Manager at the Omaha Marriott in Regency, and is excited to go to work every morning.
Growing up in an old California ranching family, Candi knows the importance of serving the community where you live. She was proud to be an active volunteer at the Elementary School that her great grandfather founded, while her children, Richie (now 22) and Sabrina (now 19) were fourth generation students there. Candi and her daughter live in West O, with their two dogs, Chloe and Ferb.
She enjoys cooking, baking, singing, listening to podcasts, well-mannered political debates, and pinup fashion. She’s as subtle as a sledge hammer, has a temper worthy of her red hair and Scottish ancestry, and is as loyal as anyone you’ll ever know. Welcome, Candi!
