One Rotary Summit

One Rotary Summit is coming up on October 21 at the Endicott Visitor Center. Registration and networking start at 8:30. The program starts at 9 am and will end no later than 12:30.

The program is free. A continental breakfast and early lunch will be provided. You can register on the District web site or just e-mail your name and club to Sheila Abbey at Sheilaabbey7170@yahoo.com.

One Rotary Summit explores the linkages between membership, the Foundation and Public Image.  We will also be providing information on leadership which can pertain as much to your personal and professional life as it does to Rotary.

This years program will also address the emerging strategies of Rotary.  What is the "People of Action" strategy and how should we implement it in District 7170.  Rotary is also urging greater levels of collaboration within Rotary and outside of Rotary in order to make a bigger impact.  We will discuss many ideas for collaboration and how it can help achieve your goals for your club and your community.

The One Rotary Summit training is also a learning experience for the District Leadership team.  The final part of the program will be a panel session where attendees ask questions and provide comments on how the District can better support our clubs.  This is an opportunity to help shape the strategy of the District.
