Lorrie Parker

The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize those Rotarians that have been exemplary in their living the Rotary life.  They are the individuals that through their efforts have substantially enriched the quality of our club.  Their place in our history is significant and should be remembered by the membership of our club.

Congratulations to Lorrie! Lorrie was nominated by Rotary Club of Lake Conroe for District 2022-2023 Roll of Fame. She has been a Rotarian since June 1996. She has served on the Board of Directors in several positions. Her service includes the Director of Youth Services working with the interact clubs of the Montgomery and Willis High Schools. She is committed to helping others by volunteering her time and talents in showing"service above self" with service projects, interact clubs, and the community.

Since Rotary Foundation was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. With the help of donors, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.

The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.

Our Club wants to congratulate Jan Ricketts as a major donor to the Rotary Foundation. Thank you Jan for all you do for Rotary!

"Every Rotarian Every Year" is not just a phrase - it is a commitment we make as a club annually to support The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International (TRF). Through TRF, great work is done at home and around the world. We continue our goal of having a 100% EREY Club again this year, with all members contributing to The Rotary Foundation for the 2023-2024 Year. Thank You Rotarians!

Rotary In Montgomery County

For the last 20 years, Our Montgomery County Rotary Clubs have had a weekly column in the local daily newspaper, The Courier of Montgomery County. The column is published each Monday. This column features news about all the clubs, our Rotary District 5910 and Rotary International. Pick up a copy of The Courier, or read "A Rotary Moment" online at http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/courier. If you have news or photos you would like added to the column, please contact Rotarian Deanna Voitle at deanna@jkgraphicsinc.com
