Bob Dunning is a lifelong resident of Davis.

He has written a daily newspaper column for The Davis Enterprise for the last 42 years, the longest-running daily newspaper column in the country.

A former talk radio host at KFBK who also had a long career in sportscasting, Dunning has for the last 18 years served as daily host for the Bishop's Radio Hour, sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Sacramento, and frequently appears nationally on Sirius Satellite Radio.

The father of six, Dunning is a graduate of the University of California at Davis School of Law.
