It's time for Rotarians to go to work! Time to sort and pack a warehouse full of food for distribution to Food Banks all around the region. Celebrate the first day of Spring by getting the whole family out and helping those who need a helping hand. March 21st - 9 'til noon, that's all we ask! Since the merger of all of the food distribution entities in the area in December,Senior Gleaners is now part of the Greater Sacramento Food Bank. They welcome our volunteers, but we are limited to 60 helpers (we have had as many as 165 ...), so RSVP quickly and come and join us. Bring your kids, grandkids, neighbors, scout troop, YIP students, or anyone who wants to have fun and serve our communities at the same time. RSVP today online! Diane Schachterle

Our "Yosemite Jim" has lined up another outstanding Yosemite adventure with Ranger Dick Ewart. This is an easy hike with wonderful views...it's the hike from Glacier Point to Sentinel Dome. The round trip hike ends up being about 3.0 miles with a little uphill climbing. There will be flyers available at the lunch meetings with complete details, or talk Jim at a meeting. Jim Phillips 916-488-3732. Maps will be provided to those who sign up. Event fee is $15 per person. There is also the park entrance fee, which is not included.
