Walk 4 Literacy

The Walk4Literacy is a family friendly four-mile walk that starts at McClatchy Park, weaves through Poverty Hill, Midtown and Downtown and ends at the Walk4Literacy Family Festival in downtown's Cesar Chavez Park.  The Festival will feature dozens of kids activities, free books, family priced food truck offerings and live music by unSupervised. 

This event is a community collaboration designed to bring attention and resources to organizations addressing our children's literacy gap: 2 out of 3 children are not at grade-level reading in our community.
