On August 5th 2015, our Club collaborated with Habitat for Humanity to build a home for a deserving person in the community of Palmiste, Chaguanas. This project was initiated with the Rotary Club of Port of Spain West our sponsor Club.
 
 
On August 5th 2015, our Club collaborated with Habitat for Humanity and 3 other Clubs to build a home for a deserving person in the community of PalmisteChaguanas. Also present was a volunteer group from Ferndale California.
Several members turned up fully geared to undertake various construction activities....PP George, AG Abriham, Rotarians Jason, Franklin, Marsha, Dean and President Adelaine.
 
The hot sun (and little rain) did not hamper the fun and fellowship as members toiled away to get the job done. Lots of sweat (and sometimes tears) as the dirt seemed to get heavier by each shovel load smiley
 
At the end of the project members felt a deep sense of satisfaction knowing that they contributed to providing shelter to a deserving family.
