Joint Meeting with RC Grovedale at The Range

Last Monday night’s combined meeting at The Range Curlewis with RC Grovedale/Waurn Ponds was a big hit...even though it was a tad smokey!!

There was some competition going off between mini golfers and the whackers were attempting to take the skin off the ball at the driving range.

We came together at the end for a meal and fellowship and I handed out some prizes to:

1. Seeing Eye Gnome - Peter (G/WP) only one in his team not score a Hole in One!

2. Golfer’s Breakfast Eggcup for the ugliest outfit - Mal ‘Tangerine’ Slater

3. Bubbles Award - Lesley (G/WP) for making up the team with the Torquay ladies and holding her own!
