First a confession.
When we were at Barwarre Gardens, Mark Seller said to me that he must have missed the bulletin that week. Aaaaaaagh - what with trying to deal with the Blue Book, the Annual Report and a few other things at work I completely forgot about it. Ooops.
Anyway, the Blue Book's done and the Annual Report nearly finished - which is just as well seeing that we have to get it printed ready for distribution on Thursday Night.
Hope you didn't forget that Thursday's the Changeover Dinner.

And that means this is the last Bulletin you'll be seeing from me - Pauline's taking over from here so expect something quite different - and it's about time for a change.

I can remember when Peter Mansfield first asked me to do the bulletin. I was completely out of my depth but with a bit of coaching from Peter, a lot of research into what other Rotary Clubs did and a quick look through what my Dad used to do for the works magazine he edited back in the 1950's, we soon came to an agreement as to what was needed - and away we went. I quickly learned that for a new Rotarian, Bulletin Editor is probably one of the best ways of keeping in touch with what the Club's doing as a whole. In fact I'm going to miss having items fed to me - I'll have to keep up-to-date by visiting our web page, Facebook and all those other Social Media things.

Thanks for your support and kind words over how ever many years it has been - I've lost count - it's been mostly fun and I've enjoyed the challenge. Best wishes to Pauline as she takes over the reins and I'm looking forward to reading the bulletin instead of writing it !!!!

Cheers
Paul
