The July 27 meeting of the Noon Team of Kingston North Kitsap Rotary Club welcomed new member Dave Bomalski.

Membership Chair Bill Beaudoin (left) welcomed Bomalski to the Club with the presentation of the traditional new member Red Badge.  Dave first experienced a Club event at its auction in April.  After he "sampled" a few meetings, he went on to apply for membership.
Dave retired to the Kingston North Kitsap area several years ago, after a long career in the health care field in Alaska.  His hobby - sometimes full time - is growing wine grapes.
In other news of the working meeting (no speaker), members gave feedback on the prior meeting's award of the Business of the Year to Cup N' Muffin, and the three member stories that were shared during the District Governor's visit.  All feedback was positive.  Volunteers were sought for the Community Wine and Beer Fest July 30, and the Rotary Wine and Beer Tent August 4.  Members were reminded of the community blood drive at Village Green Community Center August 1 and August 8.  The gift of life.  Please give.  Call Bloodworks Northwest to make an appointment.
