How Research Helps The Skiing Community, Really?

Dr. Seifert's presentation will revolve around two topic areas, how skiing can be used to maintain fitness level throughout the winter months and how research has helped the Paralympian athletes better define their training programs to withstand the rigors of their sport. 

Dr. John Seifert is a professor in the Department of Health & Human Development where he teaches in the Kinesiology program. He has been active in snow sports research for almost 35 years. His research focus has spanned from beginner level skiers up to world elite racers, in both the able and disabled skiers.
