Creating lifelong musicians and refurbishing the Old Town Legacy House

Jenny James, Owner Legacy Studio's

Jenny has been teaching piano and chord chart reading in the area since 2006. She enjoy teaching all ages, children thru adults, in private and group settings. She is a former classroom teacher with a degree from Baylor University and currently serve as the Music Director and Pianist at Valley Creek Lewisville. Jenny opened Legacy Music Studio in the heart of Old Town Lewisville in the spring of 2017. And in May of 2020 she purchased the “old Allen house” behind city hall on Walters. This home is undergoing extensive renovation and is renamed Old Town Legacy House. It is the future home of Legacy Music Studio, Trey Hernandez Media, and Charles Tobias Recording.

Jenny is married to her college sweetheart, Steve James, and together they have 3 boys: Caleb, Carter, and Brenner and two pugs, Shaka and Wicket.
