Robert (Bob) P. Johnson, father of EMRC member Brad Johnson, passed away last week. He was 96 years old.

Next to love for his family, the most important part of his identity was his military service in World War II.  He was a Navy Seabee (Construction Battalion) stationed in the Pacific.  Their noteworthy achievement was transforming captured islands into some of the largest airfields in the world (at that time).

He spent most of his career in sales working for Holden Printing.  He loved being with family and friends and telling stories.

Brad's mom had dementia for 15 years and Bob's dad was a devoted caregiver the entire time. Brad said it was the experience of helping his parents and seeing how hard it was for his dad, that led him to his current line of work helping seniors and their families.
