Thanksgiving Basket Luncheon and Delivery

Who:Rotarians and guests (children are welcome too!)

Location:  Edina Country Club

Time: Help organize 11:30/ Lunch 11:45/ Delivery 12:30

Cost:  $18 for adults and $12 for children (charged to your quarterly billing)

Once again we will be partnering with the Noon Club to deliver 75 Thanksgiving Baskets to families who are less fortunate. Prior to the deliver we will enjoy a buffet lunch with a brief program.  Each delivery team will generally deliver 3-4 baskets.

In the past couple years, Del Monte Foods (via Shelia Carrington) have graciously donated all the canned goods.  Unfortunately due to her husband's job change these items will not be donated this year.  To help minimize the costs we are asking that Rotarians bring (2 cans corn, 2 cans beans, 2 cans pears, 1 can sweet potatoes and 2 cans of mixed fruit)  to the upcoming joint Noon meeting on 11/3/2016.  

If you can not assist with the delivery but would like to make a contribution please make check payable to Edina Morningside Rotary Foundation. These funds are used to help with the cost of the food items

Please register (yourself and guests) so we can determine the number for lunch and delivery.  In addition, please note in your RSVP if you do not plan on delivering the baskets but will be attending the luncheon.

Lastly, if you know of a family in need in your community that could use a basket please email me family name and address as soon as possible as the Noon Club are currently working on the lists.
