Hear from EMRC member Jeremy Newhouse and his team about the Melusi Project, a Rotary International Grant Project, led by Edina Morningside Rotary Club.

As we plan to meet live during these very unpredictable times, we need to adhere to guidelines established by the Edina Country Club, the city of Edina and our Governor. Your safety is our number one priority and we understand that not everyone will feel comfortable attending our in-person meetings. With this in mind, we will continue to offer the virtual meetings via Zoom from here forward.

Here are the guidelines that will be attached to all In-Person meeting registrations and linked to In-Person Mask announcement on club website home page. Advance reservations will be required for the In-Person Live meeting.

Edina Country Club Guidelines for In-Person Meeting attendees.
  • We have the Inverness South ballroom reserved. 4 people per table.
  • The room is limited to a total of 40 people.
  • Please be mindful of the 6-foot safety distance during the entire visit.
  • Masks must be worn. To slow the spread of COVID-19, Mayor Jim Hovland has signed an Executive Order requiring people to wear face masks inside public spaces in Edina. The exception is facial coverings may be removed while people are eating and drinking. They should be put back on when leaving the table for any reason. ECC service staff will wear masks and gloves full-time. If you do not bring a mask, we will have one for you.  We will also have plenty of hand sanitizers.
Check-in and Meeting Attendance Guidelines
  • As you enter Edina Country Club, you will be greeted at the top of the steps. You must be wearing a mask to proceed further.
  • Proceed to the meeting room.
  • Name tags will not be out for sanitation reasons.
  • There will be no pre-meeting gathering.
  • Give your name to the Ambassador and proceed to a table.
  • Please stay at your table to wait for the meeting to start. Moving around to other tables will not be allowed.
  • If you wish to sit at a table where masks are worn 100% of the time, please sit at a table reserved for members not eating. You will be required to wear your mask 100% of the time at this table.
  • Edina Country Club staff will serve your breakfast to you. You will choose between three breakfast options: eggs and bacon/sausage, oatmeal with fixin's, and pancake/french toast.
  • Your meals will be billed on the next invoice. We will not be collecting meal payments at the meeting. Guests and Visiting Rotarians pay at the meeting.
  • Be patient while we work out the kinks in this new format.
