Shelldale Youth visit to the Sunrise Centre 2022

The Rotary Club of Guelph South looks forward to once again partnering with Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre to host marginalized youth from the Shelldale Family Gateway program.  This is an annual event (that sadly had to be cancelled during 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19) and each prior year has been a wonderful success - for the youth, for Sunrise and for club members that participated.  Activities are expected to include swimming (with a Sunrise lifeguard on duty); low ropes course (a Sunrise Camp Coordinator will supervise); a fully accessible playground; informal soccer game; and a BBQ.  Sunrise will have T-shirts to hand out to youth and craft material for them to take home.  Our Rotary club is donating funds to cover the costs associated with the bussing of the youth and Shelldale Family Gateway staff to and from Shelldale.
