Dan Dutcher - Kettlestone Development

On March 19, 2015, Waukee Rotarian Dan Dutcher spoke to the club to talk about development in the new Kettlestone area in Waukee. He specifically talked about the Kettlestone Lakes Reinvestment District. In this reinvestment district, there are plans for a hotel & conference center, an amphitheater, trails and greenspace, as well as 3 mixed-use retail buildings and 3 restaurant buildings. The city of Waukee is in the pre-application process with the Iowa Reinvestment Act to get funding of $20 million to help fund the Kettlestone Lakes Reinvestment District.
