At our last meeting our Sergeant at Arms was Steve Mather who tested our knowledge on the history of the Rose Bowl. Our Rotarian of the day was Linda Harris, who introduced our own Darrell Hanson who talked about the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. This lead to the pinning of our own Vietnam Vets. It was a nice ceremony with pictures to come soon!
 
A few stats about the Vietnam war:
 
61% of the men killed in Vietnam were 21 or younger
Polk County had 98 soldiers not return from Vietnam
Over 9 million served in Vietnam, and 700,000 of them were women. 
 
This Wednesday we have our golf Challenge and will be meeting in our Committees.
