The Rotary Club of South Ocean welcomes District Governor Deborah Y. Howell as she arrives to The Bahamas to conduct her official visit(s) with the Rotary Clubs in The Bahamas. District Governor is accompanied by her husband, Mr. Dennis Howell. DG Deborah Howell serves as the District Governor for District 7020. District 7020 is an official district within Rotary International. DG Deborah will spend 1 week in The Bahamas visiting with the Rotary and Rotaract clubs. Her visits will begin with the Rotary Club of Abaco. The DG's visit will also include visiting service project sites, courtesy calls, and the usual Rotary fellowship. RCSO Welcomes DG Deborah to the islands of The Bahamas.
SERVICE PROJECT ALERT !!! THE MEN OF RCSO are in Adelaide Village. A team of members led by Rotarian Jason Dodge are committed to repairing the lunch benches at the Adelaide Village Primary School. Rotarian work crews are busy replacing old, broken and damaged wood planks with fresh lumber. Rotarians are also priming and painting the benches.
RLI Training has returned to District 7020. “The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a series of fast-paced, interactive, one-day courses offered to refine a Rotarian’s leadership skills and increase their base of knowledge in Rotary. Courses are fun, topical, interactive, and geared towards busy business and professional persons who want to be more effective leaders in their vocation and club and more knowledgeable Rotarians. Rotarians return to their clubs with enthusiasm, new contacts, fresh ideas, an increased understanding of their potential as Rotarians, and valuable skills impacting their prospective leadership in the club”.
