We are getting into the busy season of our Clubs activities. Please check your committee assignments (you can easily see them at the bottom of the weekly Bulletin in the All About You section), and please participate in the committee work
There will be a memorial service on Sunday 1/28/24 at 2 pm at the Barn at Bull Meadow (63 Bog Rd Concord, NH) for Matt Gatzke’s daughter, Emily Gatkze, who passed away on 1/9/24.

Ken Moulton 12/21 - had a great year including giving the closing remarks at the 50th anniversary of Plymouth State. This year will be his 40th year in Rotary
Dick Bean 1/12 - Dick and his wife went to Burlington,VT on their 50th anniversary to renew their vows.
Linda Bliss - walked and/or ran >1,000 miles last year! Enjoyed getting phone calls from family members and had a wonderful birthday party! Noted her husband’s health had declined at this time last year. He has since passed and she now has another family member with cancer. She appreciates all the support she gets from Rotary!

Chris Parkinson - thank you to Michelle Olivier for making sure the money for the Honduras trip was wired to the bank in Honduras so that the financing is in place and ready to go for the trip.

Secretary’s Report: Bill Ames
We have 51 total members now, 44 active and 7 honorary. Club attendance for January so far has been 85%. Dues and fees outstanding are $700 ($400 breakfast fees and $300 dues) Please make your payments.
Treasurer’s Report: Tamar Roberts
$16,349 available in the Club account and in the Foundation account, there is approximately $20,000 in funds which is not spoken for and available for new projects.
Avenues of Service: Club Service and Vocational Service:Michelle Olivier
The 4 Way Speech Contest will take place on Wednesday 3/20/2024 at 6 pm at the Baker Free Library. The top 3 speakers will speak at the Rotary meeting Friday 3/22/24. All members are encourage to attend the Speech Contest. The committee would appreciate help with the set up and break down of the room for the contest as well as contributions of refreshments to serve.
The Personalized Books for First Graders have been ordered from our new vendor.

The Board approved $500 for Amigos
A new campership application was approved by the board. The application will be posted on the Bow Rotary website.
New Generations:Dick Swett
Interact completed the clothing drive and will be having a sleep out to benefit Waypoint NH.
Community Service:Rob Werner
Musicians have been showing interest in participating in the Concert Series this summer.
Ben Kiniry Noted that his Global Grant for Africa will be managed by a new club in Africa and Ben feels confident the project will be able to move forward.
