Vince Scherer Memorial Golf Social

Back in the late 1980s Kitchener Rotary ran an annual golf tournament for a number of years at Foxwood in memory of Vince Scherer who was a member of our club and an avid car draw ticket seller.  His family still owns Scherer Motors on Courtland Ave.

As part of our 100th Anniversary "looking back" celebrations, and to honour Vince's past contributions to the club, we our naming this event the Vince Scherer Memorial Golf Social. We have been able to get in touch with the GM, Brad Scherer, (Vince was his great uncle) and they will be happy to join us and purchase a foursome for the day and say a few words at the after-golf social.

Date: Monday July 26, 2021

Where: Foxwood Golf Club  2777 Erbs Rd, Baden, ON N0B 1G0

Time: Tee off begins at 3PM

Cost per golfer: $56.79 (including tax) This includes 18 holes of golf and a shared riding cart.

Your golf fee will be added to your Rotary account, as well as any golf for non-Rotarians golfing with you. 

Foxwood Golf Club is a 27-hole facility located in Baden just 15 minutes from downtown Waterloo. It boasts an upscale practice range, putting green, chipping and bunker area.

Your foursome groups and exact tee off times will be emailed to you prior to the event.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, please do not arrive any earlier than 20 minutes before your scheduled tee off time which will be provided to you prior to the event.

NB! If you would like to be in a specific foursome. Please indicate so in the comment box when registering, otherwise all golfers will be placed randomly. Also, if you are registering a group, please list all of the members of your group in the comment box (do not register them seperately).
