Our second Hands-On Community Project for this year will be working in the House of Friendship Community Garden in the Sunnydale Neighbourhood in Waterloo on Monday evening, July 29.  We will be:

  • weeding the common areas
  • mulching a pathway
  • assisting plot owners with their garden maintenance

Wear gardening clothes and bring work gloves, all other tools and materials will be supplied.  We will meet at the Sunnydale Community Centre at 6:30 where Anne will give us some background information on the community and the garden and its importance in the community and will also outline our tasks.  Please park on the street.

Please respond by Saturday, July 27, family members, friends, and potential members are all welcome to join us.  Be sure to confirm your own registration before adding a guest.

We will gather after the work is done in the Barleyworks at the Huether Hotel for refreshments and networking.
