The Rotary Club of New Providence
The Rotary Club of New Providence (RCNP) was chartered in 1988 by the Rotary Club of East Nassau. Its President was PRIP Barry Rassin, The District Governor was Aadu Abel and RI President was Royce Abbey. His RI theme was "Put Life into Rotary--Your Life". The Rotary Club of New Providence is one of the ten Rotary Clubs of The Bahamas and a part of District 7020 and Zone 34.
Raymond Winder, Andrew Wilson and Edward Bostwick were three of the members from East Nassau that agreed to leave to charter the new club: Other names of the charter members were:

Raymond Winder was the first president of The Rotary Club of New Providence and we met at Tony Roma's which was located in The Trade Winds Building, on the south side of East Bay Street opposite Paradise Bridge or as we use to say 'at the foot of the bridge'.
