May 5th meeting

We had Victoria Weller, the film commissioner for the Thompson Nicola Region, visit our club as our guest speaker. She told us about the different productions that have come to our region, both big and small, the appeal that our beautiful landscape has for film producers and the economic impact of the industry in our local economy.

We also had that pleasure of formally welcoming Aaron Krausert to our club,a s our newest member. Inductions are always special as it not only welcomes new members but also remind us all of the principles of Rotary. We were excited to have Aaron's wife Sarah in attendance as well for the induction. The Krauserts also made the exciting announcement that their family will be expanding in the Fall. Congratulations Sarah and Aaron!
