December 9th meeting

This week, our inbound student Janis will be making a presentation about his native Switzwerland, and telling us a bit more about himself and his family. Janis arrived in August and was first hosted by Sherry Malagaspie  and now is living with Ed Ratuski.

Last week, we had our AGM and held elections  for next year's executive.  Nandi Spolia was elected President for the 2015/16 Rotary Year,  Sherry Malagaspie will be club secretary, Donna Gibson will continue on the role of club Treasurer. Reg Lucas, Maryanne Bower, Mike Bowden and Sally Wanless were elected Directors. Thank you all for your willingness to serve the club!

Maryanne Bower and Carolyn Black  volunteered for Operaton Red Nose last Friday, December 5th on behalf of our club.  Thank you!

Our club Christmas social will be on Monday, December 15th at Quila's Restaurant. Dinner is $20 and spouses are welcomed! Please let Dorys or Sherry know if you are coming.
