The Mustard Seed Neighbourhood Meal Program provides diabetic friendly meals and as Rotarians we can help members of the neighbourhood prepare and share a supper meal on the third Tuesday of each month.

No more than 2 or 3 of us are required each month to make this meal preparation a fun fellowship experience for everyone.

Anyone interested in volunteering must also complete a short online food safety course provided by Alberta Health Services.

Details below:

Hello!

I am inviting you to a short food safe course provided by AHS.

From the volunteers who have done this, I will say that you may find problems getting access on the same day that you register.

The instructions:

You are currently in a role that involves food handling at The Mustard Seed.   In line with best
practices and Alberta Health Services it is a requirement that you complete food safety training.

Follow the link below to create an account.  Once you are registered and signed in choose the course titled:
Alberta Food Safety Basics Booklet and Test”   (not to be confused with “Alberta Food Safety Basics”)

Please complete the training before February 28, 2020.   You will need to set aside about one to one and a
half hours to read the on-line material then complete the exam at the end.

IMPORTANT: Once you have successfully completed the course and exam, print the certificate and scan and email it to me for our records.
If you have difficulty printing the certificate then please take a screen print and insert it into an email to send to me.

Copy and paste this link into a GOOGLE CHROME browser:

I look forward to receiving your certificate.

Thanks and blessings,
