Welcome to the Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight

Rotary isn’t just a club for people to join, but rather an invitation to endless opportunities. The Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight is looking for adventurous people who serve in the spirit of joy.  Rotarians are People of Action and believe in Service Above Self. We freely give of our time and our energy for the causes that are important to us. While acting in service, we discover opportunities to help and elevate others, build forever friendships, and inevitably grow ourselves in the process.

As the only Mid-Peninsula Rotary Club to meet in the evening, the starlight name comes from our wish to be a guiding force in Rotary.  In the darkness of night, it is often starlight that shows the path and can provide a ray of optimism and hope.

Be one of the many points of light for positive change.  Be part of a Rotary Club unlike any you have ever experienced.  We welcome you to join our initiative and this Chosen Family.

Club News
Join us for a lively, friendly competition between selected non-profits on Sunday, February 4th from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm. This not-to-miss afternoon will feature delicious fare from local restaurants, drinks, socializing and community building.

The event will support three local nonprofit organizations made up of passionate innovators dedicated to making a difference. Attendees will hear the non-profit pitches and vote for their favorite one:

1st place gets 50% of proceeds
2nd place gets 25% of proceeds
3rd place gets 15% of proceeds

(Our club foundation will apply 10% of the proceeds to future humanitarian projects)

LOCAL

We collaborate with other local Rotary Clubs and non-profits to find ways to improve our local community through volunteering.  Our efforts have included "Sandwiches on Sundays", coat drives, toy drives, and collecting items for families in need.

SOCIAL

Join us at our next club social to meet our members and have a great time.

INTERNATIONAL

Whether it is with Project PEARLS in the Philippines, or H2OpenDoors projects around the world, members of the Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight are there to collaborate with Rotary International clubs in those countries. This is more than just "volun-tourism."
