The James Webb telescope is the successor to the Hubble telescope. Hubble provided the first, fantastic, images of far away galaxies that completely changed the way we look upon the universe. The images immediately gave rise to new questions and new challenges. How do we see further back in time? In different wavelengths? What parameters are we looking for?

The project is a NASA- ESA-CSA project
ESA provides an instrument and the launch which is why this hugely important and valuable spacecraft is due to arrive soon at the European Space Port in French Guiana. Our guest speaker Charlotte Beskow has spent over 35 years in the space business. She has been mainly dedicated to one project, the Automated Transfer vehicle that provided the International Space Station with supplies and services between 2008 and 2015. She is now the ESA representative at the Centre Spatial Guyanais, ie Europe's Spaceport where she is based.

This will be hybrid meeting held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Malmö and virtually on Zoom. A maximum of 15 participants will be permitted to be in the meeting room.
