Our guest speaker, Umesh Kumar, will share his presentation "The Future of House Building: The growing excitement for Passive Housing and Net-Zero Movement in a post COVID-19 world."

The craziness of the last few months has taught us many things including how the environment can heal when left alone, the importance of a good work/life balance, but also the need for sustainable, clean energy to meet our needs. Umesh will explore some of the new trends in house building, clean energy development, and whether this progress will be hindered or accelerated in the years ahead.

Umesh is a serial entrepreneur who has founded 4 start-ups in recent years. He is a freelance innovation consultant who has worked with some of the largest companies in the world with clients including National Grid, Unilever, P&G, SXSW, Cushman & Wakefield, and Accenture. He has previously held positions as the CEO of Peel Foods, an exciting food start-up creating Michelin star quality food for offices around London, CEO of Pace Ventures, an Innovation Consultancy that bridges the gap between the corporate and start-up world, and Co-Founder/COO at Edvent, an online training platform that transforms the student body of colleges and universities into highly employable young leaders.
