We were joined by Vitaliy Bezrodnov of Rotary Children's Fund for the meeting. He joined Rotary because of a meeting he went to in Denver, Colorado that inspired him. He watched Rotarians stepping up and committing to helping sick people in Siberia. He knew he was in the company of good people and became a Rotarian.

Vitaliy created the Rotary Children's Fund to build bridges, overcome cultural differences, and promote understanding. He applied the 4 Way Test to the program which tours and visits different communities around the world: The Golden Gate International Culture Exchange. Not to be confused with the Golden Gate bridge, but rather Golden Gates, or a heart to heart respect and trust amongst friends. It's paramount to Rotary and has created an opportunity to expand understanding, share cultures from around the world, and overcome differences.

The program includes youth ages 16-21, they share their culture and talents through dance and entertain the communities they visit. They also share their experiences and open eyes to different cultures, experiences, and understanding. The presentation Vitaliy gave was both inspiring, motivating, and energetic. All are encouraged to watch the video. Click here to watch and enter the code: f?%&7#=Y

Our club had such enthusiasm around the project, they have already communicated with Vitaliy and are exploring the opportunity for a visit from The Golden Gate International Culture Exchange to Sedona! Visit their website for more information by clicking here
