Gleaners Food Bank - Service Day

Volunteers are needed to help pack food boxes and/or sort food at Gleaners Food Bank (at the Pontiac location) on January 20th at (Time to be determined).  

You must wear closed toed shoes in the warehouse (tennis shoes or work boots).  Gleaners cannot have anyone in the warehouse who is wearing sandals, crocs, flats, etc…  
 
Also, Gleaners cannot have purses or bags in the warehouse, and do not have a locked place to store them, so please lock these items in your car or leave them at home. However, they do allow cameras, phones, and keys to be with you in the warehouse.  It is also recommended that you bring reading glasses if you need them, as some of our projects require that we check dates on food.
