Saturday November 23rd was the culmination of months of planning by a team of
residents from Flemington and Kensington and lead by staff from City of Melbourne
and Moonee Valley Council.  Both councils were keen to work together and bridge the physical divide of Racecourse Road.  Residents of Flemington and Kensington see themselves as a community and wanted to work together to solve some of the 'wicked' problems facing them. The aim was to engage residents to hear their major concerns and how everyone could work together to bring these to fruition.

Many thanks to Melanie Del Monaco from the City of Melbourne and Tiffany Scott and Nadine Ford from MVCC who worked with their councillors, Mayors and staff to make
this happen.

The speakers were amazing as they discussed how to make change happen, and the specific acts they had seen occur to improve lives in their communities.
Thank you to Berry Lieberman, Matiu Bush, Hala Nur, Erin Rhoades and MVCC Mayor Samantha Byrne and CoM Councillor Beverley Pinder.
