On Wednesday evening the Yarra Bend Rotary Club held its xmas function and the final meeting the Club.
For a number of reasons the Club has decided to hand back its Rotary Charter and a large number of current and former members, friends and family and members from other Clubs, including from the Canterbury Rotary Club, joined together to celebrate the fantastic work of the Yarra Bend Club both locally and internationally over 33 years.
There were a few presentations, some speeches and reminiscing, some very funny games (one was to build the highest possible tower with spaghetti and marsh mellows) and a lot of good fun to honor the achievements of the Club.
Congratulations to every person who has had a hand in making the Yarra Bend Rotary Club such as successful organisation.
