Russell has worked as a General Manager in the Golf Industry for the past 16 years after spending 8 years as a Business Banking Manager with the Commonwealth Bank. Trained in finance management, Russell has a keen eye on attention to details. Passion for golf was from a young age and was his sport of choice during his teenage years.
Currently employed as the General Manager of Box Hill Golf Club, Russell is responsible for 60 plus staff, 1000 plus members, a busy bistro and a function venue that hosts over 300 functions per year. Turnover in the 2019 financial year was just under $8 million dollars.
In his personal time, Russell enjoys time with his family including two children aged 12 and 8 and a semi regular game of golf when time permits.
