It was interesting that almost all club members on Monday confirmed by a show of hands that they shop in Burke Road Camberwell. As a result, we would all have a fondness and familiarity for many of Kerry’s events and activities including Christmas, Food Events, Well Being (the Wellness Trail involving 100 businesses), numerous Meet the Author functions at Dymocks, Camberwell in Canvas with the irrepressible and dynamic Colin Freckleton and traditional retail themes for Mothers Day etc.
Kerry is very active in helping businesses promote online and through social networking, Facebook and the Camberwell Centre website…..often with a themed homepage. Some businesses like T2 have their own page and manage promotional and Marketing activities this way.
Through her involvement with Camberwell Business, Kerry promotes networking functions, business forums and training programs in many specific areas.
She is a great friend of our club and has offered her full support to us in promoting our club programs like twilight cinema, busy feet and the Honey Festival. It was a pleasure to welcome Kerry back to our club and the interest was shown by many questions and later conversations with our members. We hope she can be a regular at our meetings and told her she is very welcome any time.
