Another online meeting was held last Monday with President Elect Tony Laycock acting as the chairperson.
Tony spoke about planning for Rotary's centenary year next year and requested that advice of proposed projects for the 2020-21 year be forwarded to him by 18 May.
A number of other matters of interest were raised at the meeting:
- Ted Waghorne indicated that some of the funds collected at the Sunday Markets would go towards refurbishing a caravan which will be made available to fire impacted families.
- Bob Lambert provided further details about the R100 project to build a playground in Yarra Park in conjunction with Boroondara Council and other rotary Clubs.
