Last Monday the Club held its change-over event. The Canterbury Centre (after a recent name change from the BASScare Centre) was transformed into a venue that had the look and feel of Africia. We were joined by guests from our cluster Clubs, the incoming District Governor Grant Hocking and his wife Melissa, members, partners and friends of the Club.

We had the traditional handover from current President Steve Wylie to the incoming President Lili-Ann Kriegler, presentation of Paul Harris fellow awards to Val Cunniffe, Karin Simpson and John Braine and, in recognition of her tremendous works  with the BusyFeet program, the award of Club Person of the year to Jenni Nankervis.

Throughout the evening we were able to enjoy great fellowship, very sumptuous food by a our caterers Foodalicious Catering, and some very lively entertainment from our drummers. It was a terrific event  - many thanks especially to Lili-Ann, Helen and Pat,  Karin and Rob, Nora  and Bill and all of the team involved in organising the event, setting up the room and also putting it back to its original state at the end  of the night.
