- Doug Hawley advised that there are 22 members and friends heading off on Friday week to the Philippines on the Club's eye and ear mission. We wish them safe travels.
- Jenni Nankervis is encouraging everyone to join in the End Polio Now walk on 19 October. Please contact Jenni for further details. Jenni also mentioned the Alpha 1 walk on Sunday 17 November. Posters have been prepared, t-shirts ordered and registration will be available via Try Booking (details will be provided next week).
- Lili-Ann is still looking for a volunteer to co-ordinate the District Conference in Bendigo next year. Also the distribution of the donated hampers is being handled by Ted Waghorne but he needs some assistants.
- Finally Tony Laycock, the current president Elect, advised that the Board election for the 2020-21 year are coming up in November. Anyone interested in putting their name forward for election to a Board position should speak to either Tony, Neil Williams or President Lili-Ann Kriegler.
