Cluster Meeting - Rotary for Bees

This Cluster meeting will be a  R4Bees Pollination Week celebration week event  at Greenacres Golf Club on Tuesday 12 November.

We are grateful to Rotary Club of Balwyn for joining us in presenting this function on their normal club night at this fantastic venue.  Our guest speakers are Jane and Peter Dyer from Backyard Honey (talking about the joys of beekeeping and challenges facing all pollination), Dr. James Fitzsimons and Martin Hartigan from the Nature Conservancy (talking about the plan to create at least 30% of our urban and rural landscape as pollination source so important for our food chain and survival) and Claire Moore, an outstanding young woman who has been nominated for Victorian of the Year for work she is doing breeding queen bees and setting up training and accreditation for beekeepers. There will be a Q&A panel for questions from the floor.
